The program is scheduled to conduct admissions via recommendation in October 2025 and through the general entrance exam in February 2026, with students enrolling in the 2026 academic year. In its first year, the program plans to admit 15 graduate students and appoint 2–3 full-time faculty members.
In the 2025 academic year, the College will have three full-time faculty members and twelve joint-appointment faculty members. The College also oversees an affiliated center—the “Center for Net-Zero Governance and Talent Development,” which is responsible for advancing the Ministry of Environment and National Environmental Research’s “Net-Zero Green Collar Talent Development Program.” The center organizes sustainability education programs, carbon inventory training, and capacity-building courses for net-zero transition, along with certification planning for both campus and industry participants. By strengthening the linkage between academic development and industry practices, the center integrates institutional expertise in carbon governance, energy transition, and climate policy, establishing a cross-disciplinary platform for teaching and research in carbon management.
In the 115th academic year, the College has been approved by the Ministry of Education to establish one degree program and one graduate institute: the Sustainable Technology Master’s Program (Nanda Campus) and the Institute of Sustainable Development and Climate Policy (Kaohsiung Campus). Each program is expected to enroll 15 graduate students annually and hire 3–4 full-time faculty members. All full-time faculty will hold joint appointments with other colleges across the university.
